AI, in contrast, would require constant updates and training to achieve a similar level of adaptability, so I don’t think so, no.

This made me think, what might prevent you or a dev like you to personally turn the human mind emulation into code?

I at least don’t think it requires having “all the information on the Internet” be available to the system, nor does it require GPT-like “predigestion”, nor traditional ML activities, would work, one on one explanation about human emotions are something that can achieve what you are talking about.

Probably. But it is being approached incorrectly, if what you are expecting is for ChatGPT or WatsonX to evolve into something like that eventually. Both systems attempt to gather as much information as possible, and then use that to emulate some types of cognitive processes. Mostly “Answering questions from rote memory”.

AI works primarily on data. We are yet to understand what Consciousness actually is. For emotions, we can have an AI react in a certain way by training it on large amounts of data. Same goes for creativity.

Yes but for that you need be as big as Google or openAI. Need vast datasets, a strong Ml model, deep knowledge, a team of engineers, and resources like a powerfull computer.

So an AGI would be the ultimate in masking? My head spins.
