How many more Ed-techs are going to get in this crowd? Are they even making difference in the students career or even day to day life for that matter? My opinion is ā€œed-techā€ in india can never go too well.

I mean have you seen those MAANG Employees leaving their high paying jobs just for us. To teach us DSA, System Design, and Web Dev. Like Com'on gotta appreciate them. They are only selling those courses for like thousand at minimun and some are even for hundreds of thousands they can't be making more money off of that than their 50+LPA jobs. Also as for your question, yes they kinda have but now it's just cash grab you can find amaizng courses of anything and everything online for free just search on YT.
