Building the right product is a craft. Knowing what to build and especially knowing what not to build is important. Having said that, there's no harm in collecting the quant data on user expectations/wants/needs. I am sure Medial team might keep an eye on such things... they don't have to implement it if it doesn't match with their long term vision. 🫠
