Wrong advices like these with so much confidence is a big blow and is all over social media. Please don't say the things which you don't know abou, it really harms fellow entreprenuers. And no VC will judge you if you conpare yourself to someone. YC

You are right about YC. You did miss the model bit and the bit where we founders should be able to put our our USP. This is not my advice. This is my observation and feedback from my own experience and experience from fellow founders. It is very easy to get on a path of trying to build a similar & successful path. What also matters is how that will play out in execution that is typical to your idea/industry. At the end of the day, the way we can execute is what matters.

It is assumed as an advice if you label something as "biggest mistake". Secondly, we label ourselves as some other startup to show the USP itself. Like OYO for salons, now this becomes pretty obvious what the brand might be doing. Also these 1 liners are never to elaborate on what we are doing but to just give a gist of what we do
