I am an engineering student working on a Startup with three other of my friends. At what stage of my process should i need to register my startup. It's a service based startup, can I take up small works before registering the company. Also is it possible for me to hire interns.

Sole proprietorship doesn't require legal registration tho it's suggested. Business registration is important to keep up the legal records and to protect each party intrest at the time to conflict court can only interfere if there will be registered company with proper papers.

You can register whenever you want. Legally, you are not a business entity. Illegally, all activities are upto you

Is there any way or hack that you can suggest to hire Interns but not having my Startup as Incorporated. Incorporating Startup will take time and money too.
