Look for problems that you or people face and try solving it. Trust me this isn't hard. A 10 year old boy made a dustbin with sensor that open up as soon as we bring our hand close to it. Don’t get into an existential crisis man. People do already done stuff when they have experience in that domain and observe a gap. The thing is that you are doing it for the result (which might be being rich/popular whatever) do something when you have that. If you research more about the feasibility of the things you ideate, maybe you’ll get less of “it’s already done” comments.
