I need a lightweight and effective screen recorder for windows and Also Linux. OBS studio is available for both these OS but is not lightweight and performs bad in my low end laptop. Suggest better alternative if u have used some. Kazam works good in

I’d suggest you try RecordMyDesktop, it’s a basic command-line tool for screen recording on Linux, with two GUI versions based on GTK and QT4. It can capture on-screen activities for creating video tutorials, recording desktop sessions, or displaying software usage
