I can verify this. My father has a shop, and almost 80% of the payment transactions are done online.
Here's apps breakdown.
1. Phonepe : 70%
2. Gpay : 15%
3. Paytm : 7%
4. Others : Bhim etc.
But to my father it's frustrating and he's not liking it
