It's not about the direct use case, bro. The mental exercise and training we went through give us the ability to solve problems in our life. Also, if schools had never taught us a wide range of subjects and topics, how would we have found what to pursue in life?

College education is so overrated. Students are taught 6-7 subjects per semester and out of that hardly one subject finds real life application. Reading these many subjects for 3-4 years, then preparing for post graduation and then for a job... Harsh
