Hey Everyone, I have this idea of creating a vertical social network for Coders.
Do you guys think it will work or not? Whether it's a yes or no Please explain why.
I actually wanted to create something like Instagram but with only education content.
Like Medial is doing currently, I am pretty sure in some months they will gonna bring a new feature of shorts/reels.

LinkedIn has officially become Instagram with it's video feature similar to reels.
Instagram is doing AB testing for a "new feature" (not so new) , now you can play and pause reels instead of the old audio mute unmute when you tap the screen!
Personally i dont like it that much, anyone else who is a part of this testing and is not

If reels gets separated from insta. Then, what is the use case of insta ?
I believe reels is what insta's core feature. if it's gone. instagram would be almost dead

So now almost every mainstream Social Media app has a dedicated video/shorts button.
Latest entry being X, followed by Linkedin, Youtube, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok. The race for attention is real.
Never gonna happen on Medial though.
