Unique Startup Stories (5/20) Is there a platform where you can use multiple app at one place? Yup! This is Tapzo. So tapzo was an app aggregator platform where you can use multiple apps like ola, zomato at the same app. It may look that the app would be bad but unexpectedly the ui was great! So why it failed? 1) Frequent Pivots: it was started with a Askoka, complain resolver, then moved to helpchat, a personal assistant and then to Tapzo. 2) Negative Cashflow: this kept them depended on funding but the catch here was that they use to approch for funding just before the needed it. This made it hard and at less valuation. 3) Bad Customer Feedback: refunds don't help everytime, Product shouod be eventually good. They recieved thousands of complaints that remained unresolved Later amazon acquired it for $40 mill while it raised $36 mill as Amazon needed data about consumer spending during launch of Amazon Pay (this is how important our data is). What do you think about this?
