You are Misinterpreting this. Attention and retention are two sides of the same coin. While you may watch reels for a straight hour, can you recall the content of a reel you saw, say, five reels ago?
Learning per second in watching a reel is less, no matter how informative it is, because retention is low due to lower attention span. I bet you guys, while doomscrolling, cannot recall what you saw 5 reels ago.
