Sometimes I feel like getting a job somewhere might be the best resort for now but still at some corner of my mind I want to get back and build smtg of my own mostly caused by overthinking... and I always find myself thinking about situations which I like to be in and the lifestyle that i want but I am nowhere close to achieving it... is this common amongst u guys too?

Exactly everyone face this problem in their journey but this is the era of building things for your kids . If you will not bulid anything they will ask you what you're doing at that time when everyone is building something great ? Atleast you should give them anything that help their 5 to 6 generations and they don't need to do jobs .
