My startup is in pre Revenue non registered and in prototype phase I got a chance from invester to ask for funding what funding should we ask from investors and how much equity I should give

🤣 Co-founder is asking the CEO to get something for him from the funds the company received from the VC.

I was actually wondering if investment from any investor also means he get gets a share from the profit of the company, Say, if an investor buys 20% stake of a company, does it mean he also will get 20% of the profits earned by the company?
