Unique Startup Stories (1/20). Imagine a platform which provides helper for any work you want at affordable rates! Well BookMyChotu did that. So BookMyChotu provided on demand worker for any work from buying grocery to helping during change of house. The rates were quite impressive starting at only 90rs per hour. This startup users skyrocketed during demonetization when people hired these Chotos to stand in line. Though this startup failed soon due to 1) Lack of Respect: workers critized the startup as they were not treated properly and were called "Chotu" 2) Business Model: it was a simple commission based model but the revenue started to decline as people use to take the worker's number and call them when needed 3) Increase in Startups like Zepto, Urban Clap, zomato, etc which did the same work they did 4) Trust issues and Lack of funding So I personally liked the it but lack of cash flow killed it. So What do you think of this? Financial not available*

It's not the lack of resources that is holding you back, but the lack of confidence.

I still don’t see the startup showcase as the “focus” of the app. It seems like anupam was right, these are just marketing hungry founders who went to shark tank, were absolutely unconvincing during the pitch. Just took whatever offer they got for ge
