I think noise control in drones is an important research area to focus on, and I think Phase control technology which uses active noise canceling to reduce noise might be a good idea for Indian drone companies to focus on and to develop noise control

I have attended a seminar on Noise reduction technology of UAV (Quadcoptor). They used two things:
1. By changing blade profile of UAV propeller they have achieved 8dB reduction in noise.
2. By using phase control they have reduced noise by 6 dB.
