Heard some interesting thing about Japan's job culture: People are generalist in Japan. If you work in a company for 5 years in Japan so company intentionally let their employees to go through all the departments each year for upskilling & productivity while doing the main job. It feels interesting & challenging for them to not get bored or leaving the company. In return company gets a skilled professional who understands the company's nerve or If employee leave after 5 year so ultimately it makes him or her skillful. What about India? We are specialist in India, We prefer only on job at a time, nowadays more. Around 40 years back we also used to the same and diversify ourselves in many works. Do you think it's inspired by west?
