Sir trending feed updates every hour or so because content sirf best select hoke aata hai. Latest feed me you can see 20 - 30 posts every hour. This will increase with time.
To the medial team , using your app I hv noticed some bugs . When I have already selected for the latest posts then closing the app and again reopening it , it automatically gets to the trending feed.
Also I didn't like to go to the top left and fro

The Trending feed algorithm is repetitiveāloading it shows duplicate posts. Implement stateful tracking (e.g. session or client-side ID cache) to filter out already viewed posts in feed queries.
How ranking algorithm works on Medial? What kind of posts (or on what parameters) are shown on one's feed or trending?

- Having a dedicated category for Case studies and extremely long form content
- Having filters on the feed [Trending/Latest] posts to disable listing of those categories / blog posts.

Why following feed?
So that you can have a focused section to scroll through as latest becomes very cluttered sometimes.
It's like I have completely switched to Medial from Twitter.
Reason?
Well, I didn't have much reach on Twitter and here my posts are getting reach manš„¹.
Also, Twitter is becoming more toxic with annoying religion and political based feeds.
