India doesn't have it's own OS we are completely dependent on ios and android. India should have it's own OS. This will help in maintaining privacy and security as well. I'm thinking of working on making an OS for india no matter how long it takes .

Are there any competitions? Not any major, no. Is this a great space to build yes, definitely. Irrespective of many a companies having been trying with jugaad systems. But with enough conviction, research and innovation with focus on specific usecases that can be monetised in India will definitely works.
