Previously worked as a PM in this market. Very difficult for a new app to get started and be profitable. We scaled our product to 1000 DAU without any paid marketing , but due to the type of audience and psychology, it becomes very tough to be profitable. People are more astrologer loyal than platform. So they will try 5 different astrologers on Astrotalk before choosing other platform ( apart from for free calls). And with astrotalk's positioning and current revenue, i don't think it will be easy to run a profitable online astrology app. Having said that, if you can bring something out of the box for supply side ( or maybe AI/GPT based astrology) then you can give it a try.
