1/25 Failed startups journey Hello, everyone here is the thread of failed startups after enormous success 📈 1. Stayzilla Stayzilla was founded back in 2005 by Yogendra Vasupal, or Yogi as many called him. The idea behind it was simple: to help people find places to stay when they traveled. At first, Yogi invested his own money into the business. Later on, big investors like Matrix Partners India and Nexus Venture Partners came onboard, pumping in more money to help Stayzilla grow. The startup took off quickly, becoming popular among travelers looking for all sorts of places to stay, from hotels to homestays. But, it wasn't all smooth sailing. Stayzilla had to compete with big players like MakeMyTrip and newer ones like OYO Rooms. Plus, they had some internal problems, like disagreements among the management team.
