I think IPL has laid off the good marketers. Abhi IPL chal rha hai bc we know why. But shuru mei like during 2008-14 they had great great marketing campaigns, songs, hooks and creative adverts. Now it’s just straight up business for sponsors and for the people of the country, well, mostly unemployed and will watch anything within cricket (ofc also cricket fanatics) What i mean is ipl seems to be losing the value of their franchise slowly.
