I hear you. From my observation the PITCH and the PERSON who is pitching aka entrepreneur is the most important factor. Investor bet on the idea and the drive the person with the idea has. PITCH PERSON and CLARITY. You will get it.

I was given an advice of finding a co-founder. To look for someone who is good at in the the area you are bad at. Couldn’t agree enough. They don’t have to be your best friend, you are colleagues potentially turning into friends. So know your strengths, get someone who is good at on the areas your are weak. Get to work and build that rapport.
