Instead of buying a 2000 rupee umbrella light, I used some resourcefulness (jugaad) to create a similar light for my studio room. I started with a reusable oil container I found at home. I cut off the top part of the container and punched a hole in the cap to fit the size of the light bulb holder. I then installed a high-intensity LED light (₹300) inside the container and attached it to the holder (₹10) that I screwed onto the cap. Finally, I closed the container to secure the light. To create softer light, I used a piece of butter paper (₹2) to cover the opening, as shown in the image. To hang the light, I threaded a thin metal wire through the holes where the container's original hanger was located. I then adjusted the angle, tightened the wire, and tied it securely. In total, the light cost only ₹355 (wire + light + butter paper + holder + plug). So it's saving of ₹1650 with little compromise "The point is, you can start small and upgrade your tools later as you earn more money."
