What do think about removing away headphone jack from phones

I am using One plus Nord ce 3 They removed the earphone jack and added the IR blaster I don't know why they do such things.

Yes taking away the earphone jack is not nice move. But IR blaster is for controlling gadgets with your phone itself but in ur home if your having any smart TV , A/C , Refrigerator and others then only you can use this
