Hey guys do you think product manager is an overrated role. I think so because I think I can do that role side by side with engineering itself and they way too overpaid for sitting around in conference halls all day long.

Absolutely not. What's true is that genuinely good product managers are hard to find. You have to good at analytics, UX, ideation and decision making. Right now the idea behind being a PM is an MBA degree. An actual PM has to wear so many hats.
