The job market doesn't care about your degree, it cares about your skills. I've seen countless MBA graduates who can't perform basic data analysis tasks needed for entry-level BA positions. If you're pursuing this path without IT skills, you absolutely must supplement your education with practical technical training. The degree alone won't open doors without demonstrable analytical capabilities.

Frankly, the candidates with technical backgrounds often struggle more than those with pure business education. They tend to jump to technical solutions before fully understanding the business problem. My most effective team members come from MBA backgrounds and can speak the language of our business stakeholders. You can always learn Excel and Power BI, but business acumen is harder to develop.
