The only thing Jio has won at is Telcom. Their tech plays so far have been disastrous but I have hopes from JioCinema.

Well established brands like jio, tata and many tier 1 companies can do this stuff of copy paste as a subsidary that doesn't even matter for them. They are going for a profit overall. Even if they are not profitable india is not good. So it's easy and a jolist normal expansion for them. They do this for fun if they get traction they continue doing else they just put it down or just ran it normal. That's it. Don't inspire from them.

China/India runs on copying because all the innovative peoples leave countries and flies to west for better life ex. Sundar pichai, Satya Nadella, etc. Though in china they come back from west and found global gaints like Alibaba like byte dance, tencent etc.
