We were also thinking to make it a part of our app. But there is an issue. The issue is, before booking marriage halls or venues people look to go that place and have a idea of the place and facilities available there,because they don't want to take any risk. So, they may search for venue, locations and make basic comparisons on your app but they will make final decision only after visiting that place and hence when they visit the place they will close the deal outside of your app and there will be no revenue for you. Secondly, if you are thinking of collecting listing charges from those businesses than they will never pay for it because the amount of marriage happening in India is huge and so almost no hall remains unbooked during peak season, so they have nothing too lose.

Bro I have the same idea actually I did research before starting that thing I don't what type of idea I mean how u imagine the idea but I imagin in a way that if some body is marring they show come to us for their process so I thought in an agency kind of way because ppl can't just book some things in online because it is big event I thought this way because I asked ppl who are at their marriage age what they do how they plan so I thought above way but agency way can be copied by ppl easily

Bruh marriage is a verymuch precious thing in a person life. Why this may not work: People wanted to make things slow and reasearch and book the venue and select it with many assumptions. But you making it instant and people get overwhelmed by this options and may feel regret over the marriage. Mostly people choose their fav catering and choose their nearby known locations and venues, so they probably don't wanted to use this app. Making a once in a lifetime function with a competitive pricing would make no sense and this will even make the low standards for their marriages. My suggestions: Don't make a end to end pricing and etc app. Just make a simple wedding locations app and just add the vacancies available on dates and booked dates. Add the contacts of the venue broker. Make a subscription based model for both venue landlords and customers. This will work trust me. No person will backoff to check the locations by a subscription of 5k to 6k an year. Hope this helps ATB

One problem with your app/booking and you will destroy someone lifetime event.

Indian wedding market is huge so TAM is there but it'll all be about building trust. Indians don't take risks with such big events.

You'll need some capital to expand. But can be a big business.

Are there no other players in this? Seems such an obvious idea.
