Truth is that is the safest way to find patrons. I remember some original concepts like Biggest Loser and Love to Hate you which got canceled because of poor reception.

That would require market study and lots of experiments. The problem here is while other countries have a fixed demographic, Indian diaspora is too diverse to create a successful relationship with the audience
