Dev with 4+ years of experience here. This is one of the most important qualities I look for in an interview. The way to test this is to give an individual a problem to solve and keep applying constraints. Notice how easily would they give up on the problem. Every business runs into constraint issues. If you can't find resources to handle them you don't belong here.
