Blinkit launched a franchise model for its dark store! I think it's a brilliant move to scale and build great distribution against competitors 1. The franchise model could work well as it is a huge capex to start a dark store and to make it profitable it takes 12 - 18 months. I assume The payback period for your capex will be much longer. 2. Blinkit will make money via commissions in the franchise model, They should be helping franchise owners with tech, distribution and other resources. They are empowering more people to be part of their journey which is great but also I think with the franchise model Blinkit is trying to build a dense network of Kirana stores accompanied by quick delivery

Open ended doubt: Does it make sense to create a "Democratized Quick Commerce App" that connects kirana stores to quick commerce any store, stores can list themselves on app, like swiggy hotels and instead of the dark store model kirana/supermarkets
