Last night, Praveen Mishra and his team at Tohands were offered 60 lakhs for 2% equity by the sharks Before Tohands close their seed round and raised from the shark tank - they pitched to 50+ investors to raise capital Glad that Turbostart chose to lead their seed round I had the privilege to see most of their struggles but the team at Tohands are extremely resilient and they deserve every bit of this. ( I'll write a post on their struggles and juggad when they become successful) On a person level, What I love about tohands: 1. Building the right product for small businesses - I have spent 4 years in this space, so I know I know they'll do well. This product opens up a bunch of possibilities in BFSI :) 2. Praveen Mishra , Satyam Sahu & shanmugham are ambitious and resilient 3. Great opportunity, they are placed to become a go to bookkeeping product for 3rd world countries and disrupting traditional ERP's. At the end of 2022 I had invested in Tohands during their T-Tub around and became a small part of Praveen's journey ( they didn't have their V3 ready by then), in the first interaction itself I felt i really have to be part of their journey Can't wait to see, what's instore for tohands and Praveen :) They have the audicious Plan to sell 1M units in next 2/3 years! Happy to have Radhika Gupta & Varun Dua on the journey!
