You need to think from the lens of a consumer. If I want to eat ladoos, I want it now. I’m not going to pay for the premium packaging and wait for 3-5 days to receive them. Your friend should think about whitelabelling ladoos for brands and focus on hyperlocal distribution. If you run social media ads about how delightful ladoos are, you must be prepared to deliver it within 10 minutes of the customer clicking on the ad. If you don’t, they will order it from a local mithaiwala on Zomato/Swiggy. You would essentially be paying for the marketing of your competitors by not being ready.
