Seems like the job market squeeze has reached the IIMs? Feeling scared more than anything else. I’m an SDE at a startup and I fear we could soon either be fired or asked to take massive cuts from what we joined at in 2022 Not sure even the upskilling platforms are of much help in this market. Are we headed for something even more disastrous?

I would say. You dont have to worry. The only thing has changed is market sentiments. Which has also changed the way recruiters and companies perspective on hiring. Now hiring is more niche. I also got out of my job because of the toxic environment Created by micro managers. The world does not end here. I think this is the time to be more powerful and critical thinkers than fearful about what is going to happen. Think about yourself. Think about your skills. Where you can actually strive in a team.

AI isn't taking any jobs. It's just IT Industry is getting stable and has reached It's peak till the time we get more qualified or upskill ourselves.

All of us who are seeing a market crash for the first time in our lives are scared. I think everyone is. I am properly preparing and revising for tech interviews in case I am laid off :p What can a man do but prepare?
