Too large to answer in one comment so may not be able to provide a detailed one. SOme challenges are - a. Are you getting the best deals. b. Why do you not like one deal while another Vc does c. A competitor to my portfolio company has more money, how can I assure myportfolio wins d. What is the right founder to invest behind This and a lot more. This does include market, fundraising for the fund, employee churn risks.
