Should I move to Bangalore? I am based out of Kolkata and despite having decent tech skills I am not able to find jobs here. Whereas my friends who were in the same batch are scoring great jobs in Bangalore. The social media cry about Bangalore infra is really scary but there doesn't seem to be an alternative worth the risk.

Why don't you look for a Wfh role? Why leave a city that is 10x less expensive? Probably staying w your parents? No rent. You are blessed. Just find a good remote job and save as much as you can.

Hmm, well of course you can get a better paying job but the math is for you to do. Everything costs a lot in Bangalore compared to Kolkata or other smaller cities. Rent is obnoxiously high, travel is super expensive and fucked up. Language barrier. In general living here is expensive but on the positive side- talent pool is amazing, you will grow really fast, great places to relax, nightlife is crazy, you can score good hikes year on year, probably hosts the best tech brains in the country, unlimited opportuinities and of course, the weather is super good.
