Do I absolutely need to be a techie to start a tech startup? I have co-founders who are techies but I’m the CEO and the burden of fundraising is on me. Hearing from a lot of folks that VC’s will see me from a negative eye.

If you are building a tech-startup, you definitely need tech talent in the inital team and you have said that you have it so it shouldn’t be a problem. Just make sure you have the right technical expertise in your team for the kind of tech you are proposing to build and that is more than enough.
