The feature currently translates videos into French, German, Hindi, Italian, Spanish, Indonesian, Japanese, Portuguese, and English. While the dubs may not sound entirely natural, YouTube plans to improve them in future updates. Creators have the option to preview, unpublish, or delete the dubs. YouTube acknowledges that the technology is still new and may not always be accurate. Initially tested with hundreds of creators, the auto-dubbing feature was introduced in June 2023.
