Elon Musk's X Corp has banned over 200,000 accounts in India between April 26 and May 25, with the majority being involved in promoting child sexual exploitation and non-consensual nudity. The platform also removed close to 1,000 accounts for promoting terrorism in the country. X received over 17,000 complaints from Indian users during this period, mostly concerning ban evasion and hateful conduct. The microblogging platform, in compliance with India's IT Rules, reported that it received 31 requests for general account-related questions.
