Verily has a December deadline to cut important ties with Google, leaked documents show | Business Insider India

Alphabet's life sciences subsidiary, Verily, is set to become an independent company by severing ties with Google. Verily aims to detach itself from Google's infrastructure and systems, including cloud services and employee benefits, by December 16. The separation is part of Verily's efforts to operate as a fully independent entity in the future. The move is driven by Verily's secret Flywheel project, which is considered essential for achieving independence. Verily offers health-related technology services and products such as retinal scanning and AI-powered platforms for chronic care. Despite aspirations for an IPO, the timing for Verily's complete separation from Alphabet is uncertain.
