The terminals are obtained through a shadowy supply chain, involving middlemen who purchase the hardware on platforms such as eBay and ship them to Russia. Similar activities have been observed in countries like Sudan, where Starlink is also banned. SpaceX has not responded to requests for comment on the matter.
