TERN Group, a global talent mobility platform for healthcare workers, has raised $24 million in Series A funding led by UK-based Notion Capital. The round also saw participation from RTP Global, LocalGlobe, EQ2 Ventures, and Leo Capital, along with existing backers including Presight, Tom Stafford (Co-founder, DST Global), and senior healthcare policymakers. This brings TERNโ€™s total funding to $33 million. The proceeds will be used to expand into new geographies, enhance its AI-powered Clinical Workforce platform, and scale training operations. Founded by Avinav Nigam and Krishna Ramkumar, both former executives at Urban Company and Cars24, TERN enables Indian nurses and care workers to access global careers with transparent hiring, AI-led matching, and zero-fee recruitment. TERN claims to have grown 10x in the last year, nearing Rs 200 crore in annualised revenues, with a presence in 13 countries including India, the UK, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Over 650,000 professionals are registered on its platform, with partnerships with NSDC, TNAI, and state governments to scale training and compliance. TERN competes with global healthcare staffing and mobility players such as AMN Healthcare and MedPro International.

The Whole Truth raises $51 Mn in Series D funding Clean-label health food brand The Whole Truth has raised about $51 million in a Series D funding round led by Sofina and Sauce.vc. The round comprises a mix of primary and secondary capital and saw participation from existing investors Peak XV Partners and Rainmatter Health, along with Ayra Ventures. The fresh capital will be deployed to expand in-house manufacturing capacity, strengthen working capital, and build internal systems required for public market readiness. An ET report said the latest funding is the start of the companyโ€™s IPO journey, with profitability identified as the next key milestone. Founded by former Unilever executive Shashank Mehta, The Whole Truth focuses on clean-label packaged foods. Its product portfolio includes protein bars, protein powders, nut butters, and dark chocolates. Cofounder Rachna Aggarwal leads product development at the firm. Previously, the startup had raised $15 million in a Series C funding round led by Sofina in February last year, with participation from Z47, Peak XV Partners, and Sauce.vc. Since its Series C round in January 2025, the company claims to have grown threefold. Financially, The Whole Truthโ€™s revenue from operations surged 232% to Rs 216 crore in FY25 from Rs 65 crore in FY24. Existing investors MetroMax Group (India) and Ankit Sajnani also participated. The startup earlier raised a seed round from Rohit Goyal, Windrose Capital, and Raghu Venkatraman, followed by an angel round from MetroMax Group (USA) and Ankit Sajnani, which helped launch and expand its core platform. AutoDukan works in the auto aftermarket by digitising spare part procurement, insurance claim workflows, and multi-brand workshop enablement. Its AI-powered platform maps spare parts to vehicle models, predicts demand, and automates procurement, delivering speed and transparency to insurers, fleet operators, and workshops. The new funds will be used to scale operations across key automotive regions, enhance AI capabilities in demand prediction and claims automation, and deepen partnerships with insurers, fleet operators, and OEM suppliers. The company also plans to strengthen its team across AI, operations, and market development. AutoDukan reported 10ร— growth in the past two years, serving over 2,000 clients nationwide, mapping 2 million spare parts, and maintaining a live inventory of 200,000 parts updated daily. The firm competes with players like GoMechanic, Automovill, and OEM-backed service platforms.

Space tech startup Dhruva Space has raised $15 million (Rs 123 crore approximately) in its Series A round from Indian Angel Network Alpha Fund and Blue Ashva Capital, as well as Silverneedle Ventures, BIG Global Investment JSC (BITEXCO Group) IvyCap Ventures, Mumbai Angels, and Blume Founders Fund. The fundraise also includes a Rs 10 crore venture debt from Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) and a Rs 14 crore venture debt from Technology Development Board. The proceeds will be used for upcoming spacecraft manufacturing facilities, strategic business acquisitions, and enhancing product offerings, the company said in a press release. Founded by Sanjay Nekkanti and Chaitanya Dora, Dhruva Space has launched as many as eight payloads in the last 24 months, including the Thybolt satellites mission in November 2022 and the LEAP-TD mission on 01 January 2024. The Hyderabad-based startup is active across space, launch, and ground segments, and supports civilian and defence clients worldwide. It offers satellites teamed with Earth Station/s and Launch Services as an integrated solution or individually as technology solutions to power space-based applications on Earth and beyond. Over the past few years, several space tech startups such as Agnikul Cosmos, Skyroot Aerospace, Pixxel, Bellatrix, GlaxEye, Dhruva, Vesta Space, Digantara and InspeCity have managed to raise decent funding. In June last year, spacetech startup Digantara raised $10 million in Series A1 funding led by Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India) and Kalaari Capital. In the same month, Pixxel scooped up $36 million in a series B funding round from new investors such as Google.
