Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Bengaluru experienced panic as a former employee allegedly issued a hoax bomb threat. The threat was received at the TCS Think Campus, prompting the company to alert the local police. The police, along with bomb disposal and dog squads, thoroughly inspected the premises but found nothing suspicious. The police are now searching for the ex-employee, who reportedly made the threat out of anger. This incident follows a similar hoax bomb alert received by TCS Hyderabad six months ago. TCS has not conducted any recent layoffs despite a decrease in headcount.
