Starlink to soon get regulator's final approval for India entry

Starlink, a satellite communications company owned by Elon Musk, is poised to receive final regulatory approval to operate in India. The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) is set to sign an authorization document with Starlink, allowing it to compete with Eutelsat OneWeb and Jio Satellite. Despite acquiring necessary permits, Starlink needs to establish earth stations and a control center in India for security compliance before launching commercial services. Security concerns previously hindered progress.
