SaaS startup Scalekit has raised $5.5 million in a seed round led by Together Fund and Z47, with participation from angel investors including Adam Frankl, Oliver Jay, and Jagadeesh Kunda. Founded by Satya Devarakonda and a team of ex-Freshworks engineers, Scalekit offers modular, drop-in infrastructure for SaaS and AI-first teams. Products include MCP Auth for agentic servers, Agent Actions for secure API calls with consent and revocation, and modern human authentication with enterprise features like SSO and SCIM. Unlike monolithic solutions like Auth0, Scalekitโ€™s ร -la-carte approach lets developers adopt only what they need. The founding team previously developed Freshworksโ€™ in-house auth platform, now used by over 50,000 businesses and 2 million users, and saw firsthand how painful it was for SaaS teams to deliver secure, enterprise-ready authentication. The firm is building the authentication and actions layer for AI-native applications. With protocols like the Model Context Protocol (MCP), applications are exposing functionality directly to agents, breaking traditional identity systems designed for humans. Scalekit is now building the authentication foundation for the agentic era. Already used by startups such as Hubbl, Sifthub, Fello, Unstract, Tiphaus, and Aerchain, Scalekit helps teams move agentic workflows from prototypes to production.

CuePilot AI raises $1.8 Mn in pre-seed round led by Unilazer Ventures Early childhood education-focused startup CuePilot AI has raised $1.8 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Unilazer Ventures, backed by Ronnie Screwvala, with participation from Eximius Ventures and Titan Capital. The proceeds will be used to strengthen CuePilotโ€™s voice and AI stack, build integrations for new geographies, and expand go-to-market efforts across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and later the US. Founded to address operational inefficiencies in preschools and daycare centres, CuePilot offers a voice-first, AI-native management platform that automates a large share of administrative tasks. The system allows teachers to record short voice debriefs, which are converted into structured academic updates, operational records, and parent-facing communication. The company says this helps educators reduce screen time and focus more on classroom engagement. CuePilot operates as a full-stack platform covering academics, attendance, health logs, billing, admissions, and parent communication. The startup is targeting a segment where data is often fragmented across messaging apps, spreadsheets, and legacy software. CuePilot currently works with over 130 schools across India and Southeast Asia. The firm plans to scale to 1,000 schools globally over the next 12โ€“18 months, with a focus on expansion into the US, where average revenue per school is higher.
