Rivian owners now have access to Tesla Superchargers

Rivian electric truck and SUV owners will now have access to Tesla Supercharger stations, thanks to a software update allowing Supercharger access for Rivian vehicles. Rivian is using Tesla's North American Charging Standard (NACS) and will provide a Tesla-made adapter to current owners for free. The adapter will allow Rivian owners to connect their vehicles to Tesla's charging plug. Furthermore, starting in 2025, Rivian will manufacture vehicles with the NACS inlet built into the vehicle. Rivian plans to install hundreds of its own DC fast chargers as part of its Adventure Network project.
