Our AI system can make your car driverless, says Imagry CEO

Imagry, an autonomous driving system maker, aims to convert regular passenger cars into driverless vehicles by installing its affordable AI-powered systems. Unlike traditional autonomous cars that rely on high-definition maps, Imagry's system interprets real-time visual information to make driving decisions. The company's perception system mimics human vision, while its motion planning component replicates cognitive processes in the brain. Imagry's system can also be integrated with LiDARs and radars if necessary. The company has signed a 10-year deal with Continental to develop a software-defined vehicle platform that allows cars to gain autonomous driving capabilities through software updates. In addition, Imagry focuses on L4 driverless electric buses and believes they are easier to implement than passenger vehicles due to their fixed routes and geo-fenced areas.
