The joint venture, named Mahagenco NTPC Green Energy Private Limited, will focus on developing renewable energy projects in the state. NTPC Green Energy is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Ltd, while MAHAGENCO is owned by the Government of Maharashtra.
