The majority of these breaches were related to the MOVEit managed file transfer software. The report also highlighted that 75% of organizations rely on manual third-party risk programs, highlighting the need for automation in cyber risk management. The healthcare industry was the most affected by third-party breaches, making up 35% of all attacks. North America accounted for 64% of all third-party breaches, with the majority occurring in the United States.
